10 things to tell yourself every morning.

Hello all and welcome back to yet another motivational Monday post ~

Today I will be sharing 10 things that you should tell yourself every morning in order to make the day as positive, productive and worthwhile as you possibly can.

So let’s begin but before you start reading make yourself a nice cup of tea, coffee or cocoa, because there will be a lot of reading involved!

Today is a new day. It does not matter if it isn’t a Monday, the start of a new week or month make today a fresh and positive start to something new. Learn from your past; cherish the memories and progress into the future with happiness and optimistic vibes to start something new.
Start from today, because there are only ever so many tomorrows!

It doesn’t have to be perfect. I am a perfectionist and in life you have to realise that not everything is going to be exemplary  it is simply the fact of life, there is always room for improvement and development.

Be grateful for right now. Live the current moment. Take each day as a new challenge and try your hardest to fill up all 86,400 seconds of the day, as much as you can. (of course sleep doesn't count!)

Make little steps towards your big dream. Sometimes I think it is so easy to get wound up in your long-term dreams that you forget about today and your short-term goals. It is easier and wiser for you to take baby steps towards the finish line and what you hope to see and achieve, rather than to jump straight to it and have to move all the way back to the beginning in order to take another 6 months to press restart. Make daily and weekly goals list that you can achieve, which will help you to where you want to be.

Breathe. Take a step back and just breathe! Do not rush, get flustered and stressed ~ stay calm and try to move around the problems in a positive and constructive manner.

Don’t be too hard on yourself. If you didn’t get the grade you worked so hard for, the rise in the cake, the digit on the scale or the job that you wanted so badly. Learn from everything and progress into making it work. Have an hour timeout where you can sit and eat ice cream out of the tub to comfort yourself, but don’t be defeated and disheartened, otherwise you will be back at the start line again, fight back. Jump up and bite the bullet say to yourself you can do this.

Things happen for a reason. Everything in life happens for a reason, although it might not seem like it at the time ~ it is essentially one big game. You are on a rollercoaster spinning around 24/7, working towards or for something significant. This is why you should again cherish and live every moment.

Make it productive. Wake early and start your morning as soon as you rise. Go for a walk to clear the mind and awaken you head, make a delicious and nutritious breakfast and start ticking off that to do list as soon as you can. Try to not become lazy and bored, as this is where your choices will be bad and something you might regret.

Everything is a choice. Your whole life is one massive game of choices. All your actions, words, outfits, food and goals are a choice you dictate what to do. Making wise choices and seeing each day as a new opportunity will lead you in to being a positive and happy. Although there will be times that are hard and sad, try to look around them and think practically. You are essentially the author to your book, so make it exciting and happy!

You don’t have to do it all. I am going to tell you the truth ~ you cannot do everything, no human can. Do not pack your entire to-do list into the one-day, which is clearly unrealistic. Approach each project with a clear mind, so that you can concur it to the best of your ability over a period of time, and yes take breaks from time to time to refresh!

~~~
So I am not sure how many times I have said positive and happy throughout this post, but hopefully you can understand everything that I have been trying to say.
To briefly (I will try) summarise ~ yes we will have bad and emotional days where it seems like everything is crumbling down, but try to stay happy and confident. Take each day as a new chance to work towards your dreams make the most of each day, as this will help you get to where you want to be in the long run!
There is so much in life to be happy about and a lot of the time it is lost within our everyday lives, try to see it and make it your challenge to be the best person you can.
