Terry's Chocolate Orange and White Chocolate Cookies.

Good morning all!

Alright I am going to quickly get in quick before you have time to say anything I think it is safe to say that I am addicted to cookies. I just love how adaptable the recipes are and you can literally add most sweet biscuits, chocolates and treats to it and make it taste delicious.

Today I have created Tanya Burr’s Milk &White Chocolate Cookies, however I have added another flavour into the mix - I incorporated chunks of Terry’s Chocolate orange ~ absolutely divine. To be honest another reason was because I had no milk chocolate in the house so I had to improvise!

I also experimented with the recipe as well to hopefully create a crisp and golden outer shell and a soft, chewy and oozing chocolate inside get your mixer, bowl and ingredients and put this recipe to the test!

I have a delightful chocolate chip cookie recipe that is certainly a contender, but I am on the look out for other possible choices. Please let me know your favourites in the comment section below!

Terry's Chocolate Orange and White Chocolate Cookies:
200g unsalted butter at room temperature
150g caster sugar
150g brown sugar
2 medium eggs
325g self-raising flour
1-2 tablespoons milk
200g white chocolate
200g Orange chocolate (I used Terry's Chocolate Orange, but use any brand)

1. Preheat the oven to 200-degrees and line two baking trays with parchment paper.
2. Beat together the butter and both sugars until creamy. Crack in the eggs one at a time and mix well after each addition.
3. Gradually add in the flour and beat until just combined. If the dough looks to dry add in the tablespoon of milk.
4. Rough chop the chocolate into chunks (make sure there are big chunks of chocolate) and roll cookie dough balls into 60g sizes or use a standard ice-cream scoop.
5. Bake for 12 minutes until golden. Do not bake for more than 14 minutes, as you want them to be soft and gooey on the inside whilst crisp on the out.

Terry’s Chocolate Orange and Milky Bar chocolate are both so creamy and delicious that they go hand in hand together a match made in heaven!

I hope that you have enjoyed yet another cookie post! I promise there will be other recipes coming in the near future that are not cookie related - but I can't promise anything.
